I assume you would need exact dimensions and photos of the front door, both inside and out?
Yes this is correct, I can assist you with what I need measured.
We do have a storm door with a design on it so I'd want to get your ideas for the most appropriate design.
The photos will help this very much. We have an excellent design team.
I would have to see the photos, sometimes we can transition the sidelightes to clear at the top so that they don't need to be done, but usually you want the entire entrance ( doors, sidelights, transoms ) to be one "canvas" to make the entrance appear larger.
We can not proceed without a deposit, our designs are copywritten and we protect them so that your neighbor can't duplicate it. Also, our design process is important to us. We take the time to research and design. It would be a waste of time if you were not already contracted.
We take 8 weeks to fabricate , temper for safety, and them embellish it with the bevels. Shipping may take a full two weeks after that because it goes consolidated freight. Sometimes we can get them done in 6 , but I would count on 10 weeks as a worse- case scenario.
yes, we require a deposit of half. Then when they are ready to ship, we photograph the finished product and e-mail the photos. We do require payment in full prior to shipping because these are custom. This is why the measuring is so important. I would hate for them to not fit, but it is very easy to get the measurements accurate.
I would recommend hiring a local reputable glass company who does mirrors, windows and doors glazing. They can come and measure for you, supply us with an excellent measurement, and they can install thm when they arrive.
This is what most of our clients do. The installation will depend upon the framinbg you have already, whether vinyl or metal or wood. They all have different methods.
not at all,
I recommend all glass to be cleaned by lightly spraying the cleaner onto a soft towel and wiping the glass.... This prevents streaking, which comes from too much cleaningproduct being used.
No warranty on glass because it can break from mishandling. We do stand behind our products for their beautiful quality and the designs that are approved. We always recommend insuring the freight when shipping for the full amount. We use a company who handle art products. They are Craters and Freighters... Great service great pricing and they turn the payment to replace over to us immediately so we can replace it in half of the time the first one took. I have only had one piece break by them in 8 years.
Please do it before... When our glass comes in its already clean like jewelry... no need to clean it again. the installation of our glass is so easy , makes no mess what so ever and then you are done! A beautiful entry... with no issues.
We will get this for you.. we just need the sizes also. Thanks!
